Equine Facilitated Activities & Therapy

Equine facilitated activities and assisted therapy incorporates horses into the therapeutic process.  Individuals will participate in activities such as grooming, leading, and groundwork with horses while being safely supervised by a clinician, a certified PATH!, and EAGALA facilitator.

*All individual session's are provided by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)*

Horses mirror our emotions and responses, they never lie and they hold us accountable with honesty and lack of judgment.

Group Sessions

Our equine assisted group sessions work with adults, children, adolescences, families, and couples. Services are structured around benefiting mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and cognitive function through support of our staff and the horses.

Through therapeutic horsemanship group activities individuals will learn communication, body language, bonding, socialization, team work, life skills, problem solving, and much more. These groups are fun and challenging that help to create balance in each participants life

The family/couple session provides a therapeutic approach to connection and bonding. Working on the relationship by respectively setting boundaries, effective communication, and managing balance.

We request that each participant is able for a minimum of 4 weeks. Our sessions are created around the needs of each individual to provide an effective treatment modality. We firmly believe in working closely in communication with the participating agency and their therapist's during this process.
